Muller Family Theatres is a Minnesota owned and operated motion picture
theatre company with locations throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
We offer a variety of employment opportunities for those individuals with
a strong work ethic and an avid interest in the entertainment industry. Theatre Managers We are seeking positive people with management experience, who enjoy
every aspect of leadership and welcome the challenge of learning all facets
of the theatre’s operation. Required skills include 2-3 years of
management experience, working concepts of inventory systems, fundamental
computer skills, human resource principles, good communication skills
and knowledge of general building maintenance. Preferred skills include,
but are not limited to; credentials in theatre management or a degree
in Hotel/Restaurant management, general projection equipment operations,
or a marketing or advertising background.
Assistant Managers The Assistant Managers are trained in all operations of the
theatre, including inventory management, projection operations, and staff
leadership. Position requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years
of work experience, flexible hours, ability to function as a team leader,
good communication practices, and basic math and computer skills. Preferred
skills include work experience within the theatre or hotel/restaurant
industries, knowledge of inventory control, human resource issues, or
projection equipment operations. The Assistant Manager position offers
flexible scheduling to fit either full or part time hours. Projectionist Muller Family Theatres provide extensive hands-on training and technical instruction for the Projectionist position. The Projectionist is responsible for all aspects of projection booth operations which include picture quality, equipment maintenance, and managing a timely operation. Projectionists must be over the age of 18, have basic mechanical knowledge, a strong comfort level performing simple repairs and good communication skills.
Theatre Staff Muller Family Theatre House Staff consists of Box Office Attendants, Concession Attendants and Door Attendants. Each position requires individuals to have basic math skills, positive attitudes, and an attention to customer service. With the various staff positions, each Muller Family Theatre will accept applications from all individuals over the age of 15 and will provide extensive on-the-job training. Box Office Attendants must be over the age of 17 and have basic computer or cash register skills.
